A native of Berkeley County, Jack Williams is admitted to practice before all courts in the state of South Carolina, the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the District Court for the District of South Carolina and the District of Columbia. He has been a member of the South Carolina Bar Association since 1973 and is currently a member of the Bar’s House of Delegates where he assists in setting policy for all lawyers in the state.
Williams served as a Circuit Court Judge for South Carolina from 1998-2002. He is a former member of the South Carolina House of Representatives (1988-1992) and a former Assistant Solicitor for the Ninth Judicial Circuit.
As a co-author of “Trying the Wrongful Death Case in South Carolina” he has led numerous seminars on the subject. A U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam, Williams was awarded the Army Commendation Medal with “V” device for valor. He is a 1968 graduate of Erskine College and the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1973.

Jary J. Hulst joined forces with Jack Williams in 2004 after practicing for over 15 years in the San Francisco Bay area. He started out with a major law firm in San Francisco and then moved in boutique securities/business practices in Silicon Valley and the East Bay. Today he is known for his expertise in the areas of commercial litigation, property disputes, insurance coverage, and appellate work. Hulst is admitted to practice in the state and Federal courts of South Carolina, California, Iowa and the District of Columbia.
Hulst earned his law degree from the University of Iowa in 1987 and his Bachelor of Arts from Iowa State University in 1984, both with academic distinction.
